ok then lets break it down further.. i want you to comment on me as best you can from my posts. i am not born again, i am actually agnostic seeking my faith. i look at porn quite often. sometimes everyday and sometimes barely at all. i don't hide anything nore would i care if my porn was discovered. i'm not more lustful cause of it. i actually have never cheated on anyone in my entire life. do i think thoughts of lust...yes i do.....but i have always been like that, even way before puberty. i'm just a very sexual person. i show all woman great respect and i'm quite a mommas boy, she is one of my best friends.

Well, everyone knows how i feel, lol! Depends on how you define porn. If it means watching a man and woman having sex, i don't see the problem or masterbation and oral sex. Porn is just a word ppl made up to give sex films a bad name. This is a free country and as long as it is, there will be sex films. It is up to each individual to make up their own minds whether to watch it or not and no one should try to determine what a person can or can not watch. I think this is why imo there are so many sex crime here in usa. In Europe brodcasting is much more liberated, but they have very little sex related crimes. Why is that?? Could be many in the western world are brought up to believe sex is bad or dirty, especially in some religions. What ususally happens in these cases is the the boys and girl later in life become very open sexually, because of their parents repressing their sexuality or they are the opposite and become fridgid and have psychological problems that they have to deal with the rest of their lives if they do not seek professional help. I prefer being open, if i want to say something i will say it, if i want to do something i will ask to do it, if it doesn't offend the other person. One must not be afraid to do what he or she wants if it makes them feel good.

next time youre checking out whats new and exciting on XXX internet news, ask your mom to come on it and check it out with you, too. If you are not comfortable with this, then it would seem to me that at least some part of you would be acknowledging that this behavior is wrong. Dont get into the whole "it might offend her" thing, either. As if it is as you say, your preference, and you are simply a "very sexual person" then you should easily be able to explain this to your mother.

Also, please explain what you mean when you say you're agnostic seeking your faith? Are you looking to become a Christian?
Would you say that pornography is a good thing?
Would you say that prostitution should be legalized (as it is in some of europe)?

the fact of the matter is that pornography is a dangerous thing. there is no social or morally positive aspect of pornography. porn is simply an expression of man's animal-like (evil) desire to have frequent, carefree and non committal sex with as many females as possible....just like a dog.

I think prostitution should be legal.....They would be tested and the spread of aids would be reduced significantly. Dont believe me? Look at the amount of STD's that are spread through some of the legal Brothels in certain nevada counties.......virtually none! Then look at what is spread from the streets!
Porn is fine, IMO as long as you dont revolve your life around it. I will prbaply go to the titty bar tonight, and enjoy the scenery, and suck down a few cold ones...does that make me a bad guy?

You said it yourself. Religious differences. The Bible says lust and adultery don't require physical touch, just thought. If you think about sleeping with another woman you have commeted adultery against your wife. If you have lustful thoughts about another woman, even one on tv, you have commeted adultery. According to God. That's where the difference is. Some people, like I used to, see it like "I would never sleep with another woman" or "I would never touch another woman in an indecent manner" but the Bible says the very thought of doing so is when you're guilty, not when you commit the act.

Do you really believe that legalizing prostitution would reduce AIDS? Apparently you haven't seen any of the statistics on the disease. Where I work we get annual updates broken down demographically and although prostitution isn't listed I'm quite sure that back alley hookers aren't the highest group spreading the infection. Most people don't pay for AIDS, it's a pleasant little gift like crabs or herpes.

ok well thats just silly to ask my mom to look at it with......actually hold on i need to go throw up....PL my mother works for me....i have a few porn mags delivered to me here at the office.....she walks in my office and says here is your porn pervert....do i feel uncomfortable no i don't....my mother was taking porn mags away from me when i was 8 years old.....like i said i am a very sexual person and everyone who knows me knows this....parents included.....my father inlaw found my movies the other day so now he knows too. i don't feel bad for bein who i am.

as for my religion well its been a confusing area for me....i was raised catholic just because....my parents are not religous....so i was not after i was not a child anymore....now i married and thinkin of havin kids soon....and reguardless of my faith i think its good for kids to have religion plus my wife is religous and she worries about my spirtuality....i don't think i no whats what so i keep an open mind....i had a bad experience with my church when i went to go back so i have a bad taste towards catholic....i'm sure its cause of the way i was raised but i have a problem with blind faith so its hard for me to say i believe....when it comes to religion i feel like i'm in a dark room reaching out with my arms grabbing nothing!!!!!

as for prostitution....i don't have a strong opinion about it but i feel its a victom less crime....teh only victom i can think of is maybe a poor spouse at home thats clueless about it.....but like piggy said at least if its legal the girls are clean and he won't give his wife anything....cause lets face it he is gonna do it anyways

I think you said a mouthfull when you mentioned blind faith. I think that some people are expected to just do this or that because.......... but when they ask because why and get no response the house of cards falls. Don't get me wrong I'm not what you could consider strong in my faith, I have too many bad habits that I've been hanging on to, but I'm not following blindly either. I'm Catholic but it took me a long time to get there. Like yourself I was raised in the Church but at around 16 I bailed. I didn't even start back going to church until I hit about 27-28. I had too many questions with seemingly no answers. Problem was I was asking the wrong folks and not doing the foot work myself. Believe it or not physics brought me out of my agnostic stage. Dr. Hugh Ross, an Evangelical Christian who teaches astrophysics at CalTech got my attention. The way he laid things out I had no argument, everytime I tried he just shot me down. From that point I started doing alot more reading and came back into the church. Like I said I'm pretty much a fuck-up when it comes to my faith but I'm trying and getting a little better each day. My point is educate yourself and trust in where your heart directs you. Don't worrry about nay-sayers and those who say "I remember you when...." or "You used to do............." it's all garbage. What matters is who you are now and where you are going.

well thats encouraging that youhave over come the same problem i have....i honestly feel like i'll be this way forever.....do you have any suggestions as for books to read maybe even by that doc you spoke of...i recently baught a book called "mere christianity" but i have not had a chance to read it yet

Dr. Ross's group is reasonstobelieve and they have a website. Some other books that I found very interesting were Confessions -St. Augustine (he may be considered a saint now but by his own admission was a horn dog in his younger day) Story of a Soul - Terese' of Liseux, the diary of Maria Faustina Kowolska, anything by G.K. Chesterton or Benedict Groeschell. Happy reading.
