And I agree about the French. They don't seem to back us for anything so why not boycott them. I had to switch from Grey Goose Vodka to Kettle One...lol.
Good for you, boycott the French. Could you imagine the economic downfall if we boycotted them for just 1 month. I bet they would lose billions and billions in imports of clothes, wine, vodka, and whatever the hell else we buy from them. I don't think we realize the power we actually have. We could boycott just about any country and survive. But for then it could be the difference between modern day and the dark ages. Take oil for instance. If we drilled, refined and produce our own gas right here in the US we would be out of debt in less than 5-10 years I bet. Not to mention all the millions of jobs it would create and the lower gas prices. But unfortunately people would rather pay 2.50 gallon than run a few animals out of the barren areas of Alaska.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

Aboycott sounds good but I do think realistically it would hurt our economy some too. A lot of our businesses are making money off French products. But I try to avoid it if at all possible.

Well,, Ive gotten a bit more educated since my last post on this subject. Read the 9-11 commission report...the evidence on afghanistan is all there. the taliban was harboring bin laden, refusing to kick him out, even when pakistan intervened for us with them and offered to help. there's your reason for going into afghanistan.

Bush doctrine: WE WILL NOT DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN TERRORISTS AND THE STATES THAT HARBOR THEM. TO ALL THOSE STATES HARBORING TERRORISTS, YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO MAKE, EITHER YOU ARE WITH US OR AGAINST US. THE CHOICE IS YOURS.

Oh, by the way, any of you pacifists see the IRAQ soccer team on TV doing their thing in the olympics? YOU AND THEY HAVE THE HONORABLE AND COURAGEOUS MILITARY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND ITS COMMANDER IN CHIEF to thank.

Yeah, I would think that it's easier to focus on the game without electricution, starvation, daily beatings and broken bones hanging over your head.
