I was thinking that as well, considering the statement didn't say "2 sacks of grain."

~*Hi! Ma and Pa told me I'd better say that all the two-letter words in this paragraph have something in common ...... or else! What's the common factor here?

                1 consonant 1 vowel?

That was pretty quick of you. Very good!

Nope, the Hi! Ma and Pa riddle answer isn't 1 consonant 1 vowel.
I'll give ya a hint.. they're abbreviations *wiggles my eyebrows*

I originally thought "contractions", but I could not think of what the uncontracted version of "or" is? Is this even right, maybe I am missing it here again.

Well, I ran them all together, so I sat here like an indiot trying to pronounce the word??? Ya, that worked really well. Then it hit me, state abbreviations. I guess I really didn't get it though. I mean, with all the help. But, that was a good one. I haven't attempted riddles in many, many years. They are a lot of fun. Keeps the brain active.

Now, if I can only figure out the remaining ones!!!!!
