Dam, Wolf needs to stop answering, or I need to start reading the whole thread, and be a little quicker!!

Well, I can honestly say I got it without cheating.

                  Now, what make silver tracks????

                        I'll have you know ...

I had to hike 3 miles across the alaskan wilderness to get to a computer, but here i am

2}If a man carried my burden, he would break his back.

                        What am I?
i'm going to say a snail ... leaves a path of slime, and has a heavy shell.

Good one Wolf (pistons). But, I was thinking snail, but the "burden" phrase was throwing me. I really wouldn't think carrying a shell, would break a man. But, I guess it relates to the phrase "back-breaking" labor. Oh well.

here's some of my own for you to solve

                              1. ~ What work is it that the faster you work, the longer it is before you're done, and the slower you work, the sooner you're finished?

                              2. ~ I know a word of letters three. Add two, and fewer there will be.

                              3. ~ Two words, my answer is only two words.
To keep me, you must give me.

i don't know the answer to some of those ...
