start / run / regedit


BUTT....I WOULD NOT DO THAT UNLESS YOU ARE TRYING TO HIDE IT. IT CAN CRASH YOUR PC FOR GOOD. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU DO IT.

if you have windows XP...
go to the start menu, go to my computer, then on the left it will say add/remove programs... go there and find kazaa and remove it.

I did this but it remains in the registry.

hmmm i dunno then, sorry.

Start - Run - Regedit

Top menu says Edit, do a find

Type is Kazaa and it will search through the registry. When it finds something with Kazaa in it, verify it is Kazaa and not part of a bigger word and delete the string.....Hit F3 I think and it will scan for the next string with kazaa in it. Keep going till its gone.
