Thank you very much Krush. I'm 30, dont drink more than once a quarter, and read alot so St Pete sounds like the place for me. I need someplace quiet. I absolutely cannot take living somewhere that is loud at night. Neighbors I can deal with because you just tell them to "be quiet please"
That $550 1 bedroom is ridiculously cheap!

I like the cruisers, I am just not ready to buy one. Best job I ever had Dragon was working for a bike dealership years ago, I was a salesman and they let us take any of the bikes home exceprt the new Ducati's. As soon as a used one would arrive though we would have to draw straws. I came to disslike those bikes.

What truimph? I have ridden all the newer ones. I want a 1952 Triumph Tiger 100 though.

It is a 72' triumph bonneville, I would love to pick up a ducati or a buell though, but I would most likely kill myself.

I have a 2nd frame for the triumph, and am seriously considering making it a chopper!! I have the triumph completly stripped into pieces for an off frame restoration, but financial problems have that on hold!

Yea bro, that is far and away a damn nice bike. When you get it restored We'll hit the road. Thats if it will see pavement I'm allways up for a roadtrip.

God I love that air duct on the drum brake system, very high tech. Wonder how well that does in the rain?

Lots of nice places in the bay area.

I wouldn't recommend living in Tampa, but it's really a personal preference.

As for MX tracks, there are two (2) up in Ocala, which is about 2 hours north of the TB metro.

Lots of people ride down here, Sport, MX, and of course off-road bicycles.

Xbiker- I was hoping(and praying) for at least one track closer than Ocala. Bout not recommending Tampa, do you mean you recommend St. Pete or not that Tampa/St.Pete area at all?

Dragon- That team absolutely fell apart on Sunday, it was horrible. I have always been a 49ers fan but that may come to change...

I meant Tampa (i.e. Hillsborough county)

Pinellas is much nicer, in terms of crime and things of that matter.

Personally, I wouldn't live in St. Pete either, there are many other parts of P county that are better.

There may be some other MX tracks that are closer, but I have been up to Ocala and they one track that is MX and also has a mountain bike course on it. It's called Hardrock and it lives up to it's name, IT ROCKS!!

Yep, hardrock is one of the best practice tracks in the nation. I cannot believe I will be living with driving distance to it!!
