Bear Zapper gone horribly wrong!

Vandoo sorta predicted what was going to happen...
This morning I was horrified when I came out to check on my garbage and found out that I had BBQ'd a stray cat. Poor kitty had no idea what was comming!
For some stupid reason, the cat BIT the wire! And once he had his mouth wrapped around it, he didn't stand a chance. I dunno... maybe it shocked him so he bit it?
I gotta think about this more carefully. That was the only stray cat that comes around, but is there anything else I risk electrocuteing? I kinda liked that cat... he didn't normally bother my garbage. Probably just curious... and we all know the saying..
