My Mom has minature goats... they're funny animals. Will try to eat everything..and I mean everything.. I once watched a goat eat a rubber glove!
One time while ice fishing I had a neat experience.. I was having some bad luck that day and was pulling up my line to see if I still had bait on it or WTF was going on... anyway, as I pulled the line out of the hole, a fish came flying out after it! Damn near landed in my lap! He started flopping around on the ice, but I finally managed to catch him and knock him out. Only fish I caught that day and I didn't even hook em!
Another time while fly-fishing with my uncle. It was getting dark and we were just doing a few more casts before heading in. My uncle casts.. and his line never comes down.. next thing I know his rod is doing funny stuff. My first thought was that he snagged a tree branch.. then I realized there wern't any trees nearby.... Turns out he caught a bat! Guess those fake flys will fool more than just fish! He had a bat flying around by the end of his line. It was a battle to get that little bugger off and save the fly...
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.
Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.
