Hey businesses will find cheap labor even if it is not in the US. Take for example Ernst & Young... they sent over about 3000 US corporate tax returns to India.... to be done by accountants there... These american companies where under the impression that these returns would be done by breed american CPA's.... nope... E&Y just cut corners and made a crap load more money..

AMEN I am completely for this!!! Only tax corporations and add a federal sales tax.... the more expensive something is the more you pay.... ie the rich people who buy Ferraris would get taxed more than the poor who buy Yugos.... but make shit like food and houses tax free.

Oh Man..........

The central governments sole purpose would be to protect the U.S. from any foreign nation.
That by itself would eliminate all the unnecessary responsibilities of the central government.
For instance - Welfare would be abolished - that would diminish the need for border control. The drug prohibition would also be abolished - that just blew out border control.
Sales tax would be the only income for the central govenment. That would take care of over taxation of the poor and under taxation of the rich.
The FDA and Social Security would be abolished (when I say abolished I mean - it would not be the governments responsibility, but more than likely private companies would take on the roles of FDA, it just wouldn't be authoritarian rule)
DEA would be eliminated.


I also don't think America should shove freedom onto everyone - not everyone wants responsibility.

If I was Prez, I would legalize marijuana....(I want everyone to realize, that Im not a stoner lol, and actually have never tried this stuff in my life).....but I feel the money spent on cracking down on this is way to extreme. Marijuana is so easy to get (Have alot of friends that use it), so the Crack down on it is really not working.

I think if the sales of marijuana was legalized, the gov't could tax the revenue and then put the money towards the national debt. This could encourage tax cuts as well.

Im no politician, but I think this would be logical. Besides, I feel Alcohol is far more dangerous than Marijuana is...

Just my 2 cents on this topic. Good topic Gear, I like it.
