Going to see the new Batman this weekend. I've heard it was really good, but excited to see for myself. I was highly disappointed when I first heard Robert Pattinson was playing Batman, but so far everyone I've talked to says he's done a great job with the character.
No, a friend saw it and said it is more of a dark crime mystery suspense, with batman. He is not the best to get info from as he thought "The Eternals" was good...HORRIBLE!

When I saw that it was 3 hours long , that threw me off some, but I promised my son that we would go see it, and I am glad we did.
There were parts where you think it would be boring, but the story slowly plays out and keeps u in suspense.
I thought it was great! I was extremely skeptical about Pattinson playing Batman, but I think he rocked it. It was much darker than the other movies, but very true to the character. Definitely a must see in my opinion.
Also wasn't thrilled about Pattinson playing the role. Honestly, I wasn't very impressed with the movie. It was enjoyable, but really didn't like how they wrote his role...walking into places, casually approaching people..HE'S A DARK KNIGHT, LEAGUE OF SHADOWS lol. He's supposed to just come out of the dark and be there, not stroll through crowds. Aside from the whiny stalker type(the whole catwoman stuff) emo role they made for him, the action was pretty good, but the gadgets, I expected better "batman" toys lol. Idk, I think the Christian Bale trilogies are a tough act to follow.
