Amazing local story!
Wow! Just heard this on the news last night.
I'll spare you most of the details.
Mother was walking down the street with her infant daughter in stroller (2yo). Some punk kids miss a turn and wipe out their honda civic into the mother and child. Civic somehow ends up pinning child underneath the car.
Here's the amazing part. In what must have been an adrenalyn rush she LIFTED THE BACK END OF THE CAR while someone dragged her child out from underneath.
Now I've personally tried to lift the back end of a few econoboxes. And there's no way.. maybe some of you bigger bro's, but not me. Heck I can remember in HS it used to take 3 of us just to drag the back end of a light car in the mechanics class. We used to have to get it rocking and slide it over a foot at a time...
Apparently the child is OK, some road rash a few bumps and bruises and a burn from the exhaust system.
