Last week I got a nail drill delivered to my house from AMAZON. I never ordered a nail drill. Then yesterday I got a fancy water bottle bottle delivered that I never ordered. So I called amazon and they figured out that some email address from RUSSIA had hacked into my amazon account and was making purchases using my credit card. The thieves start out with small purchases to see if there is any issues before they start making big purchases to deliver to russia or wherever. So my amazon account is shut down for 4 days for fraud investigation. I gave the nail drill to my girl so she can keep her acrylic nails lookin good. lol

Re: Identity theft-Not if, but when
Yeah, our bank has free credit card fraud prevention services. They have caught it when someone did a $1.07 charge and emailed my wife who said we did not do that.
Also we use credit cards for everything and pay it each month as credit cards are easier to dispute than a debit card.
