  • 75th Anniversary

Today is 75 years since we landed at Normandy France. The greatest generation lost a ton of people during this operation and their isnt a lot of these guys that survived left. A day of reflection for sure for people that paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Anyone see the paratrooper from the original invasion jump in yesterday? It was a partner jump but the guy is in his 90s now and made the jump again. Absolutely unreal to say the least

Yeah those people were so tough and determined. Now we have people who are incredibly upset by micro aggressions! WTF!

Ya man, It is sad that so few of those veterans are left. My dad was on Normandy on June 6, 1944. That might have been the biggest day of his life.
He told the story all the time, of seeing bodies floating in the bloody water and hearing bullets wizing over his head. Now you see these ww2 vets and they are in wheelchairs and are in their 90s. Sad that soon there will be no more left alive. The greatest generation.

Heres my dad getting a D Day award from a state senator. This was one of the proudest days of his life.
