never lend money .. give it with the expectation it will not be returned.. with that being said.. 2500 and yes it was not returned but that individual doesnt even come near me anymore so i look at it as for 2500 buck i removed an idiot from my life forever..

My grandfather is well off. Couple-few million and he is 80. He told my aunt, uncle and mom to work it out. A real chicken shit thing to do. It has destroyed my family. Money...

No shit. Lending money to family is a recipe for disaster. I try to never do business with friends or family. Ive had "friends" take me to the cleaners and they laughed all the way to the bank, at my expense. Oh well, life goes on. The show must go on even after we get ripped off

i say if you are going to be like that then leave it to charity. if you cant split it up equally legally between everyone then give it to some charity that will put it to good use. no need to tear up the family. my grand parents and all of their siblings are and were filthy stinking nasty rich. the owned coal mines, carpet companies and a ton of other hand end business. some of the most stingy greedy people on the planet. my great uncles dad was so greedy, that when his health started to go down hill, he flew out to vegas and burned through about 95% of his wealth. his son my great uncle, called him chain saw from that point on because he blew through that money like a chainsaw through a tree. none of the family needed that money but shit, why would you just blow it all away? i just dont get wealthy people and their families. and like i said above, i got burned out of the will and what i was promised. i just say eh, whatever i guess that i must not need it as bad as everyone else does and i am not paying for a lawyer

$100 to my brother in law. I told him I do not care if he pays me back $5 a month just pay me back. He never gave me a penny. So when he "needed" $75 for an alternator for his car i told him to shove off. He should have paid me back from the last time he "borrowed"

My holy roller, sunday school teaching brother hardly lifted a finger for my mom when she was alive, always saying "Im too busy"...But when my mom died, he was the first one at her house , loading his truck with everything he could get his hands on.

That's just how my family is. They go shopping at recently passed family houses. Shit my mom ain't dead and they go shopping at her house all the time.
