I just finished too that I thought were pretty good. Why we sleep by Matthew Walker and astrophysics for people in a hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson. I'm a nonfiction Junkie and thought both were pretty good.

          The iron druid chronicles

I swear this is the best series I have ever read in my life. Not your run of the mill wizards and warlocks blah blah blah. It is modern day fantasy so well written that even my brother who hates everything loved it. It has some of the top reviews on amazon

It has everything. It evolves in each book of the series and does not fade off like many series. Also it is well researched. So entertaining. I started it one night and called in the next day to read. I am not a reader either!

I tell you, if you like smart fantasy fiction then you WILL like this.

Baby, this book is not just a guys book either.

I'm not a Pagan, but I do have a real connection to Nature. since I was a small child I have allways been most comfortable in the woods and around animals. I don't know why but something told me to mabe get a book and check it out. reading about Witchcraft really laid out a lot to me. It has NOTHING to do with anything spooky, creepy, or Devil worshiping.. PERIOD. Drinking the blood and eating the body of a God ? Christmas Trees, Lil bunnies and colored eggs, dressing up partying and pan handling for candy at night ? now that's my kind of fun ! The other book on Wizardry is really a warmly written fun book to read. And "TOOTH From The Tigers Mouth" is about Chinese Sports Medicine. Witches Guide To Self Care, and the later I think are both you'll really like. I'm more of a Text Book reader than fantasy now that I'm all old stuff now.

I phrased the Blood Drinking and Body of Christ eating wrong. What I meant was, that sounds weird compared to the Pagan Holidays like Easter, and Halloween etc...

I get it. I do not identify with any religion/group these days. I, like you, feel best in nature too and from a young child too. I enjoy learning about different religions and cultures. Have a keen interest in the history of witches/healers though. A trip to the Museum in Salem has been on my bucket list for a long time.

I got your meaning, it is not literal but symbolic. But strange to me to drink the blood and eat the flesh of your God's son even if just figurative. Hell if not for the new testament there would still be animal sacrifice.

                      Re: my fellow book readers

I came across this while surfing around. It is time to get into a new book, so I am ordering it. I find this VERY interesting! Just can't decide if I should get audio or the book because lately reading makes me fall asleep. Anyway, have any of you ever read this?

Glad you liked it. It is premium fiction, so well written, smart, incredibly researched. I have read every book and novella Kevin Hearne has written. I am no fan boi......but in this case.....I guess I am.

10-4, added to my queue. I prioritized it to the top. As soon as I am done with my current book I will start the first book for the "sword of truth"

                              Thanks.
