With much respect I wasn't being racist at all BigDawg,(Period). I am actually offended really. I was just saying that if anything it would be a two week paid leave. just as an example I mentioned that scenario, usually that's how it goes lately on the news right ? Look, when I was a kid I lived in,.. geez how should I put it now ? Diverse neighborhoods and went to schools that where 90% people of ethnic. my first friends as a kid where of color and ethnic backgrounds. I've been beaten and stolen from people of color, my father was shot in the face and killed by a "colored kid", and still, not racist here. I'm not going with new age majority rules, if you're actually born in another country then I will, with respect, refer to whom as such. I think we're way too over board on all that when it comes to a Caucasian mentioning someone of color or sexual preference. We shouldn't cower or be afraid to say it like it is. We're all still friends, I'm jus sorry the simple topic got a "race card"..... it was never my intention.

Ive seen people get offended if you use the word "black" when describing an african american. Anything besides saying "african american" can really piss some people off. Some people, usually elder, will use the word "colored" and not mean it in a negative way at all. Sometimes, you can get so worried that you arent even sure what to say for fear of offending someone.

this racist bull shit has gotten way to far out of control. describing someone based off of their color or ethnic background is not racist. it's a way to point out whom you are talking about. all black people dont come from africa necessarily, so why go that route either. we have lost our evermore minds when it comes to these kinds of things. these skin head groups and all other groups of hate driven morons are a very small part of the population. that and most of the actual die hard racists are old and died off or already died. i honesty believe that most normal people in this country could give two shits what color ethnic background sexual orientation religion or whatever until you show your ass or make it an issue. if you are a citizen of this country then you are an american, you dont need any special sub title or label attached to it. that's where the entire issue is. act like a civilized human being, dont show your ass and act a fool and no one will pay a drop of attention to any of the things about you
