Yeah that generation is fading away. My mom makes my dad's plate and gets him refills on milk when his glass is half empty (yeah my dad drinks milk with dinner as he still thinks milk is a luxury)

Hell when my mom had cancer surgery and chemo (She is 100% well after 5 years!!!!!!) I went up to help around the house for a few weeks. My dad could not even make a sandwich, he could not identify the meat, cheese, and condiments in the fridge and had no idea how to even open the microwave to heat up leftover casserole my mom's sunday school friends had brought over the day before.

Not my wife. I do most of the cooking and cleaning. It is a fair trade she makes 1/3 more than me and does dreaded laundry.
"SHIAT BIOTCH, thats a big ass!"

A clear concience is a sign of a bad memory.

My mom was the same way she took care of my dad she had his plate of food on the table whenever he walked in from work or the bar regardless of where I was at she always rebuild his glass and whenever she got very sick with cancer he had no clue what to do. He was kind of an asshole for most of his life and whenever she passed away I think he regrets being the way he was. My dad and his seven brothers and sisters grew up fairly poor and I'm guessing they didn't always take a bath every night because there was so many of them and to this day my dad thinks taking a bath as a luxury and he made days 2 or 3 times a week but let's just say closer to 1 and he is 78 years old
