Lowes is installing new carpet in my home. I needed new carpet for a while but I saw a sign 6 months same as cash and we will move the furniture and free install. That was an omen. I picked out a medium price plush with a great pad all together about 3100$ yeah I know but I needed it. The old carpet my mom had installed over 20 years ago and was a strange color. It will look much better. The carpet is being installed tuesday so today and tomorrow I will be moving the small stuff out of the rooms. Including TV and stereo.
Next I will install myself luxury vinyl plank flooring in the rest of the house. Kitchen , dining room, hall and 2 bathroom. It is click n lock and cuts with a utility knife.

I've heard good things about those click and lock floors like that. Always loved the hardwood floor look anyways

Fine looking floor. The vinyl planks are water proof and has traction when wet.

Looks great! I need new carpet in my office cuz it looks like crap, covered with hideous stains. Im thinking of some kind of hardwood looking floor maybe. Does that stuff has traction when its wet? That could be good for at work.

i have to have carpet in my bedroom i dont like my feet hitting cold tile floor when i get up.. we installed wood looking tile in the living room and kitchen when we built the house.. it looks so much like real wood i have to tell people its tile.. the only reason i picked tile was i own 3 pitbulls and they get rowdy at times
