Whats a root canal like?
Im going in at 7 am for a root canal on a broke tooth. I never had a root canal before but this tooth is hurting like hell. Then I have to work all day.
good luck man.. i would just pull the tooth and have a faulsy put in.. not a big fan of root canals.. hell they even admit its only a temporary fix.. pull it .. one and done aint doing that crap twice
it is a huge waste of money if you ask me and super painful. most that have it done end up with the tooth coming out eventually anyway. i would have opted to pull and bridge it myself. i honestly cant think of anyone that has had a root canal and it lasted
Yep, You guys are right. Once he got in there and saw how fractured the tooth was, The dentist decided to just pull the tooth. So I had it pulled. It hurts like hell right now but I have 12 Narcos to get thru the weekend.
These 5 MG Norcos arent even touching the pain. Im going to go home and take another 800 mg of ibuprofen and hope this throbbing pain will stop. I should have never attempted to work a full day after getting this tooth pulled. It is excrutiating
Crazy thing is that the pain was insane for about 3 hours and then completely stopped. Getting that infected and broken tooth out eliminated the pain Ive dealt with the last 2 weeks. Pain is gone.
$3,500 is the cost of getting the implant. This is one of those things that come out of nowhere. No wonder so many people are walking around with gaps in their teeth.
Im shocked at how fast I recovered. But I think the stitches came loose and the bone graft I paid $450 fell out. So now I guess Im going to have to go back first thing in the morning and hope he can put the bone graft back in and sew it shut again. Yes, that hurts like hell. It means taking a needle in the roof of your mouth lol If the bone graft cant be fixed should I get a refund for it?
good luck on any refund.. never seen that happen. 3500 is a bit high might want to shop that price well seems a bit high.. if your paying cash youll find a dentist who will hook it up. option 2 .. a weekend in mexico haha, all seriousness here i know of alot of retired folks who twice a year head outside of nogalez AZ. for dental work. the places even take US insurance.. go figure

Seriously? Mexico? I would do it. I need 2 implants and it will cost $7,000 here. I wouldnt know how to even look for a mexican dentist
Thanks! If you hear of anyone there let me know. I will definitely check that out. The worst part is that I have had perfect teeth my entire life. I never needed a dentist. I guess I clench my teeth at night and It fractured two teeth in 6 months. $7,000 is what the final cost will be here in the good ol USA. I would go to mexico, no problem.
