Anyone dig it? I have always loved it and if I did things over I would go into that field. I really enjoy Jung's psychology. The brain is just amazing. How about astrology and numbers? Another hobby of mine. The life path number really amazes me as mine is really on target and so is Fuzos. Do you know your number? Even if it isnt your forte, it can be fun.

My Psychiatrist likes the checks she get from her degree, does that count, lmao.
But seriously I have no idea what a life path or my number are? I would check it out if you tell me where to find it...like the simple version.

        Re: Psychology

I like psychology. The mind is fascinating to me. I've been reading Robert Cialdini's book "Influence - The Art of Persuasion". It's amazing how different things can trigger different thoughts and behaviors. Something as simple as placing yourself in a different position versus standing directly in front of someone when your talking can yield a completely different response from that person. Pretty cool stuff.

Now that sounds like it would be super interesting. I don't even want to think about the results you'd probably gather at my office lol. I swear everybody there is crazy.

I love studying the mind and human behavior.
Ive also found most psychiatrists Ive met over the years to be complete lunatics themselves. lol

A person who knows me well (and the depth of my insanity) told me years ago that the reason they believed I started studying psych was in a desperate attempt to understand myself

Well first off, one has to really like people and have a whole lot of empathy. After listening to all the people, I am betting that it is hard not to begin to wonder whose story it is sometimes. As a hairstylist, I always felt like a psychologist, lol

Psychology is very interesting although a soft science based a lot on the opinion and ideology of the psychologist. I do not believe in numerology/astrology or any of that myself.
