  • 1st time in the cryo chamber today..Brrrrrr

Froze my ass off in that thing. I couldnt even hang for the full time. I started shaking like crazy and my teeth were chattering. Its brutal. Not pleasant, I guarantee you that. I bought 10 sessions for $100 and hope I can handle it better tomorrow. I was only at minus 160 and it goes down to minus 220. I am a cryo lightweight. That machine will kick your butt. Has anyone else tried this?

I actually haven't done it yet. There are several places in my area and I know a lot of guys that do. Might need to give it a try pretty soon. I love the cold, but damn -160 sounds painful lol.

Maybe each time will get more tolerable? Interested to hear your thoughts as you go along and when 10 sessions are done! Stay cool

They say it decreases joint pain, muscle pain, etc and speeds recovery. I dont know what I think yet. I gotta be honest, I wasnt crazy about it. It felt like shit and I tried to endure it, but I ended up telling the girl there to shut it off. I only made it to 90 seconds. I felt like a wuss. lol...Im going to go back today but Im not really looking forward to it. I have a sore back from raking an acre of grass and was hoping it would help.

"Whole Body Cryotherapy stimulates the body to release endorphins, the hormones that make us feel alert and energetic. The energized effects from each session typically last six to eight hours post treatment. The more treatments you do in close succession, the longer the endorphin high lasts. Many clients also report improvements in their sleep quality after Cryotherapy. Muscle aches and stiff joints also feel a sense of relief."
