they are a tiny fraction of the entire population to begin with. they also have the highest level of depression and suicide than any other group of the population. couple this with these ass holes doing it to get the surgery for free. they are also not deployable for the most part. so would you want them to serve with you? some ass hole that cant go and fight and is clogging the already shitty medical system up. the military is not a social experiment and your logistic and medical people already have enough to worry about. this is just stupid and wreckless

the military is here to fight wars and protect us and that is it. their has always been a reason why these people have been disqualified and it has nothing to do with being a bigot. same thing goes with homosexuals. their is a reason why it shouldnt be allowed. the chain of command should be worried about killing people and keeping their people alive and not if john and johnny are fucking in their fighting position or if jerry/jenny got his hormone treatment or is going to kill themselves. liberals and progressives never look at the big picture, actually i honestly dont think they care about the big picture.

Think about a woman who says she is a man. She is put in with men. But she is still a woman. You know an anorexic person identifies as a fat person and they starve themselves. We treat that as a mental disorder. Think about it for a minute. If a person thinks they are the opposite sex................?

Also the suicide rate is about the same pre and post op which is not the whole story BUT kind of shows that they were not happy before and still not happy after. BTW the suicide rate is SUPER high for trans folk. Like exponentially higher than even gay folk.

Anyway, should a trans person be able to be in the military? I don't really care as long as they can do their job EQUALLY to their peers without special treatment.
