nope. factory tint is the only way to prevent that but i have dogs and cats in my ride and the film tint i have was done very well and hasn't scratched yet.
if its quality film and the one doing it does their job well it will be scratch resistant and look sharp. keep the pets out while the tint is drying until all the bubbles go away and dont roll down your windows for at least 24 hrs. i wait 48 hrs but i dont smoke so its not a big deal for me. i have only had one chip in any of my tint and it was from a seatbelt whack. check your laws though different states have different percentages on the tint and the fines are hefty.
There is 1 guy here that does show cars. He uses ceramic window tint. Have you heard of it?
i hit up the kid who did the tint on my car and my pick up. ceramic is the best and if you are in a hot climate will keep your vehicle cool by blocking almost all UV. be big plus if you have a dark interior and im sure your dogs will appreciate it if you have to run into the store real quick and leave the windows down a little bit in the summer time. only a take a few mins in the hot sun to get baking in there.
