  • Ham Training

i am a big believer in hammering the crap out of legs. it makes everything else grow and regardless of how you try to cover it up you look absolutely retarded when you have a 250lb upper body and a 50lb lower body that you try to cover with pants.

what are your meat and potatoes of ham training? strong hams give you an athletic boost and when you turn to the side and they hang it is super impressive. what does your rep ranges look like? do you give them their own day? let's see what everyone does to attack these bad boys

    Re: Ham Training

I am not a fan of leg day , and I think just because when I hit'em up , the next day it's just hard to function lol !!!
But I always start w/ hamstrings , standing hamstring curl is my favorite . For me I tend to feel it more in the hamstrings than either the laying or sitting curls !!!
I'll do 10 sets 10-12 reps and then go to another exercise !!! Very little rest between sets , I like to beat the shit out of legs , they're one of my lagging body parts . And legs has their own day , PERIOD !!! I switch it up week to week , as far as different days , keeps my body guessing when I'll beat them up .
But needless to say , too many dudes at the gym look like cartoons , all upper , no lower !!! Ahhhh whatever !!!
I may not be the biggest but damn sure am close to symetrical as I can be . Well except for my stomach , that motherfucker is stubborn !!!
