Just curios about you guys would think of someone doing leg cross overs (type of walk) near the rail and can not keep his balance grabbing the rail. I am self conscious but getting more secure. It looks as if I have been drinking when I do not.
I have nerve damage in lower back that is why I do these.

Plus if anyone has any more exercise for balance let me know

    Re: balance training

i hate balance and stability stuff dw haha. i always feel like a fool doing them. i have a close older bb lady friend of mine that has a ton of nerve damage in her back. she did those as well as tons of swiss and stability ball work. she does lots of squats and lunges off the swiss ball. some days she would do it on the flat side with the ball on the floor and others with flat side on the floor and ball facing up. that should help you out a bit but like the crossovers, i would stay close to something you can grab onto quickly if you have to bail out

        Re: balance training

I got back from the Nerve Induction Test at the VA in Louisville. I do have neuropathy in both legs causing my balance and gait issues. I have been training hard to negate these issues and the neurologist discovered I have developed new neural pathways. I am a warrior and will not bow down to my issues. I do not want to be felt sorry for but maybe will accept some allowance for this but not much. I do not want to become to comfortable with my balence and gait the way it is. I will continue to train and I will continue to use healers. Will I use meds? Maybe but do not want it to be a substitute for me.

you are a good man and i am the exact same way man. why lay down and roll over? find a way to work around the issue and fix it to the best of your abilities until you are entirely unable to do so anymore. you are the man dirt. keep on trucking and plugging away. hell half the docs are about stupid anyway
