I've been slowly building me a little gym in my garage. I've got a couple benches, squat rack, 300+lb of free weights, pulldown machine so far. I've got a few random dumbells but I was thinking about getting some of those adjustable dumbells so I dont have to buy a whole db rack and save room too.
If any of you guys have ever owned any, what kind did you have and how well did they work for you?
I think adjustable dumbells are great and have used them, but don't own .
I will def get a set of adjustable dumbells, most recently have tried the Golds Gym pair and def like them !!!
They come w/ the stand and go frm 5-60lbs, so they're good for biceps, tri workouts, forearms, lite shoulders, chest flys and a few legs workouts .
Very versatile piece of equipment , so go ahead and check those out .
They also had the BowFlex pair dumbells but haven't given those a try.
I think 10-60 adjustable would save you lots of dough and then just buy the bigger weights you want. I saw Big5 sporting goods carries a relatively cheap adjustable dumbbell for around $300
That is a good investment., If I have the room, I will always prefer a full dumbell rack of rubberized dumbells, but if space is limited, these are the way to go. Theyre good, but they seem fragile to me. If I am working out alone, I can be hella rough on shit lol
Ive been to so many sports stores and those dumbells are a lot of money the heavier they get.But yeah Animal get them

I havent got to really look at them much yet today, but yea from what yall say. The adjustable 60lb ones sound nice and then buy me some heavier rubber ones and a smaller rack. I dont use 70s 75s and 90s and 95s alot I noticed. So that wouldnt be too many more sets to buy after the 60s
