It just depends on how hard you hit the muscle group really. Being it's tore down muscle fibers.

OK If you know what is and it sounds rather severe to the body. Why would you push that muscle that much just getting back into a routine. Any time I have a layoff of any substantial time I always work back in real slow. Other wise I can't hardly move.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups

After reading about it, I would take it a little easier if I had another break in training. I actually was taking it easy because I remember a few years ago, when I took some time off, how bad it was. I put a knot on my right forearm just below the elbow last time, and just really didn't ease back into it. It was just miserable. Although I'm sore, I can still move this time. I even thought...'it's hard to make my back muscles sore so I can hit them pretty hard.', and then I woke up this morning. I bet there's kind-of-a fine line there between tearing them down enough and tearing them up to the point of muscle fibers entering the bloodstream and pissing blood the next moring. I will definitely be more careful if ever in similar circumstance. I've really been pushing the water with a couple of Gatorades in there today.
I do appreciate the concern though.
