      F=ARMS.

      this past tuesday i did full deadlift on back day which normally i dont do, ido quarters, so last nite wend, i could not do squats since my legs and hams and my lower back were fried..so i had to do light leg presses and so forth
      Well, change it! Why do you have to do that exact program? If it hinders your leg day then if makes no sense to keep it that way. Me personally, I would do this:
      M=back
      T=chest
      W=legs
      Th=shoulders
      F=arms

      Think about it, every Tom, Dick and Harry does chest on Monday night, do it Tuesday and hit back on Monday. That will give you a break between back and legs. If that's not good enough then switch legs and arms. That way you get deads on Monday and Squats on Friday. You start and finish each week with a bang.
      I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

        thats what i was thinking. I was leaning more towards thursday and leaving shoulders for friday bc legs on the last day of the week has always been rough on me..i'm always to tired to get what i want out of it..

            I generally do them after squats but my goals are different from yours. My reasoning is at a meet you have to do them after squats so why not do the same in training? I know lots of guys who pull big in the gym but not at meets and lots of times this is why.

                  well i usually see people train chest, then shoulders or tripces..i dont think its a good idea to train em back to back since when u do chest, u work ur shoulders and triceps as well, so u need to seperate em as far as possible in order to hit em hard to grow, so when u hit the chest, u have to choose something that does not help ur chest like back or legs..do u see my point???

                    I see your point. Your post made it sound like that was the only way to go about it and i was just wondering what your reasoning was...

                      What do you mean by opposite muscle? Are you talking about antagonist muscle groups? That only applies to chest/back, bicep/tricep and quads/hams. Or, are you talking about push/pull? Because there is absolutely no reason you can't do two push or two pull days in a row. Chest will not take from quads and quads will not take from chest.

                      Now that I'm thinking about it...why do you have 4 days to train your upper body and only one day to train your lower body? Just wondering how you get away with that and keep your legs caught up. I'm not questioning the size of your legs, I'm just wondering why you are doing it that way.
