I went to the bigger Golds yesterday because the smaller one I usually go to closes early on Sundays. I was just in for a cardio day and used this machine called the Nordic Trak 9600 hill climer (think thats what its called). Its like a treadmill but inclines a lot more and has different hill modes.
I did 45 minutes at 15-20 incline. 15 was'nt too challenging, so I did some of it at 20 incline. I did most of the workout at 3 mph, at 3.5mph my heart rate was at 174 within the 1st two minutes of working out due to the fat burner Im on and it kinda scared me because I had just started. Also I've read the heart rate should be at like 65-70% of the max to burn fat. I turned it down to 3mph and my heart rate stayed between 135-145.
Felt great and I was soaked with sweat. Im going to take an extra shirt next time so I dont sweat all over my seats while driving home.
