one body part a day from monday to friday and weekened off
no more than 15 sets per muscle group at 5 differnet excer wt 3 sets each(do not include warm up )

even if u are cutting, keep on training heavy, the light weight shit it wont make u shredded..its ur diet and cardio..the pros that i know off, keep on trainign super heavy all year even when they compete....i'am telling u, i have nothing against u to give u bad advice.

Re: Help with a new routine please.

so, mikey, what do you think of the new issue of flex, where (PRO) bodybuilder David Henry has a multi-page layout that preaches the benefits of DC training? what about the article on it as well?

doesn't look like the program was a waste on him... or the multiple professional and top level amatuers that have won titles while training under DoggCrap.

don't take theis the wrong way bro, but you are a short guy with excellent genetics. this and the chemical ****tail you consume means that you will grow just from mowing the lawn.

no one is saying that volume training doesn't work. i did it for years and got to 280 pounds training that way. all we're saying is that it may not be the best for everybody, especially ectomorphs like crombie.

on a split like that you should only be doing 2 work sets per exercise and maybe a warmup or two if necessary. this keeps the volume low so you can train muscle groups twice a week.

most people can't believe that you can get a good workout this way until they try it and see how fast they grow.
This is basically what I do and works awesome.

              1A - chest/shoulder/tri

              1B - legs/back/bi's

              2A - chest/shoulder/tri (diff lifts than before)

              2B - chest/shoulder/tri (diff lift than before)

Then repeat for another rotaion, then add in some new lifts or variations of lifts so you don't get used to the same thing.

I only lift Mon/Wed/Fri and that is MORE than enough whether I cut or bulk, but when I cut, I get stronger, so it isn't your typical cutting.

exactly! More is less for most people. Mikey not everyone is blessed with the gentics you have. Do you work your ass off? Sure! But do most of us? Sure, we just don't have the genetic capability you do. You grow like a weed bro. Lots of things you do, most of us can't.

You can only train as often as your body will allow you. Being an ectomorph, one of the wrost things you can do is train ALOT!

Re: Help with a new routine please.

I personally use DC training and I love it because I don't have to spend hours upon hours in the gym - yet I get the results that I want.

                  BTW - great post Phreak!

dc training has been verry kind to my shoulders....i like it.....for me doing heavy sets 10-12 at 6 reps or so does work better for me, but my shoulder just cant take it any more

Couldn't agree more... I've been had a bad run with shoulder problems and DC seems to be extremely kind on my shoulders as well...

Man I like doing this so far. I of course havent seen results yet but I really like the feeling of working out my whole upper then whole lower body. I get so pumped at the gym doing this. I go all out on each muscle group and have veins popping out of everywhere! I also like that Im doing the one day lifting then the next day cardio thing. I feel its better to seperate the 2.

Agreed... having a day inbetween workouts makes a huge difference in recovery for me as well...
