  • Side Laterals

I do 4x 8-12 seated strict and 4x 8-12 standing force reppin that shit. If I want some xtra blood swell i will do a ton of reps stupid high weight but so partial it looks like a mild swing of the weights lol. I wanna explode after than i move to my presses and my side delt is smoking rocked!! I started doing side laterals on my chest days and they plumped like a b!tch too man and now i cant do without those motha fuckrs. For my side delts fuckin more is fuckin more.

How many sets of side laterals you do? Anything different that worked better for you?

i do like the strict seated heavy ones with perfect form in the 8-10 range. then immediately stand up and grab some way heavier ones and do the partial swings out to the side for sets of 20-50. head up to disengage the traps and arms completely straight. it is literally all lateral delt head and burns like nothing else. you only move the weight on the swings like 3-6in at most. looks stupid until you try it. do the same thing with rear lats as well. forced negatives work pretty good on a lat machine to tack on even more to it

I do an immediate set after a heavy compound movement. Kinda like...

      Standing push press (heavy 5x5)
After each set of 5, immediately grab 2 20 pound Dumbbells and do set of 15
Do the same with heavy Arnold press

if ive been getting frustrated i will poke my traps before a delt lift. if i feel the pokes on raises im not getting it done. the swings i will break out the wrist straps if need be. i chase the blood pump.

forced negs with the lat station is almost as genius as when i started using the same station for pushdowns. half the pulley, twice the resistance.
