You mean the things that go on the bar after the plates? I leave them off. Makes me work harder for balance. You can leave them on tho. I don't think it's a big deal...unless you put them on the Smith machine. That's just funny as hell lol

Collar and leash for Trixie always turns me on so yes. And on the bar I always use them because I have had shoulder and or elbow give way before and can not afford an injury at this age.The Best Thing About TRT Is The Cycle Never Ends.

I think i overheard someone with a better bench than I saying it helps keep both sides equally strong. Afterwards i remember my lifts esp presses went up considerably when I stopped using them And for me more weight means more muscle gains. That was my experience anyway. Like I said before if someone else uses them I don't think any less of them. Whatever works...except the Smith.
