I grew up working on a farm. The 2 hardest chores were tobacco and hay, thank god it was just once a year but each chore lasted for weeks.
I think between the 2 tobacco was the hardest. Cut and spear let it dry then hang it.
When I would cut and spear I would get a 1000 sticks a day maybe a little more. I would get 800 sticks before lunch and maybe 200 or 300 after.
The rows were long and the water was located on each end of the rows. After a while you lungs were aching from the fast pace. Arms , legs , and back were aching from the lactic acid build up. No stopping in the middle to get water you pushed on to the end of the row.
My new training method is kind of like tis. Lite/med weight compound movements and fast reps but good form. When the muscles start to say WHOA you say come on a little more
