    Amino Acids and HGH Production
    tye.png

Amino acids are the essential building blocks of our body. They are vital to our health and some of them are strongly linked to HGH or Human Growth Hormone production in our body. Amino acid deficiencies have been clinically linked to allergies, immune system disorders, depression and neurological problems. Generally – amino acid deficiency leads to decreased body and mental function.

    L-Arginine
Arginine is a semi-essential amino acid. It has numerous positive effects on our body – improved exercise performance, increase in HGH production, positive immune enhancing effects, accelerated recovery etc. A study done at the University of Turin, Italy showed that arginine supplementation leads to an increase in HGH Production. Subjects in the study had three times higher growth hormone levels over the average for their age group.

    L-Ornithine
Ornithine is derived from the amino acid Arginine. High doses of L-Ornithine have successfully raised growth hormone levels in some studies. According to a study (Bucci, L., Hickson, J.F., Pivarnik, J.M., Wolinsky, I., Mc Mahon, J.C. and Turner, S.D. (1990) Ornithine ingestion and growth hormone release in bodybuilders), Ornithine ingestion and growth hormone release in bodybuilders, 50 % of the subjects experienced significant increases in serum growth hormone levels.

When administered together, L-Arginine and L-Ornithine do appear to offer anabolic benefits. These benefits appear to be caused by growth hormone release, but this remains unproven.

    L-Lysine
L-Lysine is an essential amino acid. When taken together with Arginine L-Lysine can trigger the release of growth hormone. In a study at the University of Rome, 15 healthy male subjects aged 15 to 20 years old, were given 1200 milligrams of Arginine pyroglutamate combined with L-lysine hydrochloride. In all of them there was significantly elevated biologically active growth hormone from two to eight times.

    Glycine
Glycine is a nonessential amino acid. More recent studies have documented that oral glycine can raise growth hormone levels in humans.

    L-Glutamine
Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in human muscle, directly regulating both the production and wearing-down of protein and immune cell activity.Glutamine is converted into glutamate, which can directly enhance growth hormone secretion.

    GABA
Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is the brains major inhibitory neurotransmitter. Studies have shown it is responsible for both the rise of growth hormone (when at rest) or the inhibition of growth hormone (when exercising).(33-35) Oral GABA supplementation has increased growth hormone levels in humans. In one study, a single oral dose of 5 grams of gamma aminobutyric acid administered to 19 subjects significantly elevated plasma growth hormone levels.

i take gaba, glutamine and arginine on an empty stomach before bed and I get a little flush in my body and feel strange for a few minutes then it subsides. I assume it is caused by a GH pulse as I get the same from 3 iu of GH pinned

How much gaba do you take jip? Going to try this. My zma has gaba added to it but want to see if it's an adequate dose.

start between 500 and 1g and you can work up to 3-5g depending on how well you tolerate it. like jipped said it makes you flush pretty good for a little bit but the sleep you get from it is excellent and you dont feel like dog crap when you wake up

            agree

I use 3-4 grams arginine, 4-5 grams gaba and 4-5 grams of glutamine. again it must be on an empty stomach or I feel nothing. I buy in bulk and it is really cheap. I am sure there are other aminos that will help release more GH like lysine, and ornithine. i have never messed with them. I should

I have found that if I stop taking them for a while then start back at my doses I described above I have a bit of gastric distress. start slow and work up like guns said.

our bodies are night and day different man. i take mine about 10-15mins before my final meal and i still get an intense nasty flush and pass out at first really easily. i have never had any issues at all with gastro issues from gaba or individual aminos.

i also buy mine in bulk powder as well. super super cheap that way

I just got zinc-mag from true nutrition and am very happy with it. Should have got some then and saved the shipping.

Yeah zinc is good but the two together are synergistic. Also help me sleep better.
