    My 1st time was this past year.
    Started at 4 iu 15 min pre workout...sipped on a shale of dextrose, pro powder,creatine,bcaa starting at the beginning of my work out.

      oh man dextrose is horrific haha. it works but it is terrible for causing bad gastro issues. you got the concept down really well though. i have found over the years that something like highly branch chain cyclic dextrin, karbolyn, or vitargo best for carb source. then add in some casine hydro, whey hdro and or eaas alongside of your creatine and you are all set. that and they have zero impact on your guts, dont crush your appetite and are pretty much instantly absorbed into your system. i even use the hbccd with eaas and creatine on a daily basis even when i am not running slin

        I wanna run a slin cycle but everyone is making me nervous about it now. I’ve been geared up for about 6 years. But I have 0 knowledge about slin cycles. Very interested though. I wanna try next level

          it's not really complicated on one hand but the draw back is that if you mess up, you die. that's the seriousness of it's use. most people toss it in with their gh and a little more in an effort to off set the insulin resistance one gets from gh use. with that said and again it can and will kill you and if your diet is not 100% on point you will get fat or die.

          the normal rule of thumb for its use is to have at least 10g of carbs per iu used. start with 3-6ius first then move up to the 10-15 iu range if you want. like the other posts i say go with humalog as opposed to humilin r. log only spikes once and it's active life is very short 1-2 hours.

          so you want zero fat during the active window. so you have to be picky with proteins and such. what i do is i have a good preworkout meal of:
          60g whey iso
          1/4 cup of cream of rice
          2 tbl spoons of almond or pb

          i have this about 30-45 mins before taking slin and heading to train. then i mix up in 3/4 gallon of water:
          60g of highly branched chained cyclic dextrin
          10g eaa
          10g creatine.

          i then take my slin about 5-10min prior to training and drink 1/3 of that drink above immediately following the insulin. i then sip the drink and finish it up before my last movement.

          post workout is just a sirloin and rice or potatoes with no fat added to the meal. all set and no issues. i also keep in my bag at all times, gummy bears, nerds a couple other boxes of gummy type candies and a bottle of gatorade. never had to get into them but i always have them just in case. i also have some dextrose tabs as well.

          got to be safe and extra careful before taking the plunge. i do know of one guy that died in the squat rack while using slin

            Such great info, thank you. I’ve been taking growth for about 2 months now but I have been nervous of the slin cycle

                If you read his post again he clearly says he takes his slin about 10min before he trains. Some guys take it after too...

                But yes he takes it before he trains and somehow you missed that? Not trying to pick on you but slin is dangerous if you don't wrong and being able to read and research and not miss details is number one here.
                So be very careful and read thing several times before you think you got it.

                  No worries, I know how to read, I’m not a youngster on here . I just wanna reiterate it was ( prior ) . I’ve been running gear and growth for a long time. I’m just trying to get the info I can get. I’ve read plenty on the subject. But kinda like any profession, you can get the schooling but everything changes in the field. I’m not gonna run something until I collect as much knowledge as possible from all areas necessary. To be honest after all that I’ve been learning the risk isn’t worth it. It’s somewhat of a train to get everything to your muscles which is great from the outside looking in but is the juice worth the squeeze? So I appreciate your concern and your input. I’m no fool but this forum is to educate and not belittle if I’m correct? I came here for knowledge so I’m grateful for the ones who provided just that. It’s lame to read about people getting shamed or talked down to because one knows more then the other, kinda defeats the purpose. We truly don’t know who’s on the other end or what they deal with. Thanks again for the info

                    you are good man. i personally would have never recommend to someone to take the plunge unless they were into serious competition and trying to get to the next level. it is a great compound unlike any other but like already pointed out, it isnt something to take lightly. if you do decide to take the plunge, i would always start with a low dose and increase it every couple of days. that way you can get the feel and learn how your body responds. i also know people that suggest that first timers go with post workout for the first run to test the waters as well. that is as long as it isnt to close to when they go to bed. you dont want to go to sleep anywhere near the active window and i have always taken it an hour past the active window before even thinking about going to sleep.

                    no question here is a stupid question though
