  • TRT Advice NEEDED

Long story short I've had low T for a few years and finally decided to start self administering due to my doc saying 200's in normal for a 30 year old. Well today she said she would be willing to test me again and send me to an endo to get further checked and possibly write me a script. I was SHOCKED. She said look in your mechanic I"m meant to fix what's broken and doesn't work. 8 days ago I shot my regular 200mg. I want the best advice possible on making sure that when I test my levels are LOW.

What would you guys do from here? She said drop in anytime I want within the next couple weeks and get blood drawn to see.

I went in after a month off and was still at 700 BUT I had been on awhile. I'd defiantly give it a few wks just to be safe. I'm sure guns can be more exact on the timing aspect of it. Good luck 200 is way to low brother!

Dang that's super high! Well I tested two weeks ago and was roughly 40% lower then that. So I doubt I'd be at 700

As long as you fall in the "normal" range for the doc reading it, they will say you are normal. You may get lucky and find a doc that will work with you but best bet I have seen over the years is an endo or a urologist. From what you say, you seem to test at the low end of normal for years now. What has your highest level ever been? Maybe there is something going on. The guys here will def have advice for you.

Yea after bloodwork she plans on sending me to the endocrinologist, to get further testing done to see maybe if there is an underlying issue that's causing my hormones to fall short of normal. The highest I've ever tested is 310. I have no idea what it was before that in my earlier 20s though.

Will do, still need some more advice on this subject though. A little in the dark. I mean I'm aware that my level will drop here very quickly as the half life of cyp is what it is. But no clue how long this process will take, not looking forward to my quality of life being what it will be though having my levels tanked

                    Re: TRT Advice NEEDED

look into nurse pactitioners or doctors that work for "wellness clinics" in your area. these are places that do botox and weightloss programs. Their money hungry and will put you on TRT with those levels for sure. My NP gives me 200mg cyp per week (taken at the house), 1mg Anastrozol on mon / fri, armour thyroid daily, and HCG which I rarely use cuz insurance wont pay for that one script. Everything else is covered so Im good to go.

If you cant find one look on your insurance's list of general practitioners in your area. Call all of them and ask if they do TRT. bring your bloods with you. Worst case scenario you pay for an officer visit and don't get a script. But go to the one that sounds most friendly about it when you call. This is what I did before I found my new provider who is all about TRT. The GP I had was only giving me 1ml EOW and that was it (no ancilliars). New guy is the bomb... In fact he has me on his same protocol lol.

Next up would be Endo and Urologists. If u find a good one then your good to go. Just keep in mind most are pretty knowledgeable and wont give you "the hook up" but will get u on track.

Lastly a TRT clinic. youll get it but its about $200 a month

and of coarse older big dudes in your gym no where to go so you could always ask them

I would wait a good solid 30 days minimum after a 200mg inj before getting baseline bloods. may wanna wait 5 weeks. Even then these arnt base line because ur still suppressed but the cyp or enanth would have cleared. During that time Id take some Tongkat Ali, Tribulus, and Maca to keep somewhat of a sex drive. and Don't cheap out if you buy those herbs...quality ones really work...like SPB Tongkat ali...very expensive but works.

I was in low 200's too when I started. like 209 or something. This was from years of abusing anabolics improperly. I didn't want to commit to that so for six months I trained and ate a high fat diet with the following supplements in hopes of bringing them back (all at a high dose).

                    Tongkat Ali
                    Tribulus
                    Maca
                    Fadogia (Hcgenerate)
                    DAA
                    Vit D3
                    Multi
did a few runs of clomid and hcg too

Came back and T was lower.

I gave u some info about doc shopping and options for that. But what im really getting at is make sure u have exhausted all means of recovery before jumping on this horse because once ur on for a while youll look back and wish u wernt but then its too late. if you need it you need it. Id at least try this protocol if u haven't done so already:

don't take shit for 4 weeks then do:
                    -3 weeks HCG 1000iu EOD
-beginning the first day of your last week of HCG start 100mg clomid for that week
-then 50mg clomid for three more weeks
-if you can afford it use HMG with your hcg but that stuff is super expensive
-take proven over the counters like DAA at the recommended dose
-vitamin d3, ZMA, and a multi
-train heavy as fuck...lots of squats
-take some over proven over the counters too during that time like DAA which is the main one

And make sure the clomid and hcg u use are pharmagrade. There are some very reliable and all day chemists out there if you search for them and catch the drift im leading u.

                    Good luck

stop all your supplements for 2-4 weeks. you should be rock bottom. i have never seen anyone bounce back naturally with nothing in a month, not even dudes's in their 20s. just cease your test and have bloods drawn as far away as possible and you should be good to go. if they try to put you on creams or patches tell them no freaking way, you have wife/gf and your wife or gf has kids. almost all endos will try to put you on cream first and even though it is semi effective, you are going to see far more peaks and valleys with the crap and the sides are much more pronounced in people that are sensitive

I have read the following. If you want your test levels to crash.

                        A. Get very little sleep for a day or two.
                        B. Go on a low fat and low caloric diet before you go in.

I spent a year on HCG which brought my test levels up nicely but my estrogen was through the roof. After a year I finally gave in and got on TRT. What was funny was preHCG my levels were 200s and after HCG mine was 75. Doc said that was the lowest she has ever seen and I was in my early 30s at the time.

Also I tried tribulus and all this other crap and yes it raised it some but not enough and what are you going to do take trib. the rest of your life? I also tried a restart protocol by a Dr. Scally but it didn't work. I mean I felt good when I was on the protocol but when I came off it which you are suppose to do I just crashed again.

                        Good luck.

set your appt as late in the day as possible. I tested about 350ng/dl in the morn but almost 100 ng/dl less at 4pm. also a big fatty meal. make sure you are off long esters for 5-6 weeks with no PCT.

doc prescribes me 125mg week. seems like a tiny amount but it puts my between 800-900 ng/dl, about 2X where i would be if i was natty. i am off right now saving up my script so I have extra mg for later use. also get it by mail if you can. they send you 3 months supply at once.

I don't know what made me try to hide it from my Doctor for years. What a dummy I was. They can't tell on me I am a grown man, all they can do I give their opinion. Now I use my blood test to see if my free test is where I want it. I told my Doctor last week not to test me now because I am on a big blast and all the numbers will be real high. She said ok but get a handle on your blood pressure I don't want you having a stroke while you are on your so called blast. She is giving me a blood test in 3 months to test where I am at when just doing TRT. Told her I want to be at 1100 and she said please consider staying around 900. She is working with me because it is her job and I told her the truth.
