Re: Long Cycle Recovery Blues..
What does your pct usually look like?
The guys are right we are all different. Some of us bounce back easier and faster then others.
My buddy competed for 8 yrs and blasted and cruised mostly blasted lol. He quit cold turkey no pct and has had a kid since and said his libido is stellar. Go figure!
Back to your questions. I feel with a hardcore long pct u should bounce back fine.
Proviron is the only true bridge heavyiron posted some pubmed studies a while back that showed its not suppressive under 100mg. While that's pushing it IMHO I've done 25-50 mg daily and took labs 1 month after I finished with pct. my test nl/dl was 540 not my original 640 but I was still recovering and I was happy with the 540 result!
There is going to be some adjustment bro. It's not going to be seemless. Watch the estro. I would front load with hcg then do the typical clomid/nolva for minimum 6 weeks
The cialis helps but the last pct I did with the nolva/clomid/proviron was hands down best easiest pct I ever did.

Re: Long Cycle Recovery Blues..
LOL good analogy Tom,
Nah i havent tried hcg because you need to use it on cycle and not off so i waited too long to use it, going forward ill use it for sure.

Re: Long Cycle Recovery Blues..
Guns said it best. I tried the on and off with pct for a bit and it sucked. I finally decided that I'm never coming off. Blast and cruise (TRT levels). Once the body goes past the genetic potential, you cant keep your gains when you come off. It makes no sense to me to pay 500.00 for a cycle only to watch it disappear in a few months. Keep in mind I'm 36 so it's getting hard to even do this on cycle. Staying semi on I keep a lot (not all of course) of my gains until I am ready to blast again. As far as feeling good in PCT..... going from superman to clark kent will always suck.

Re: Long Cycle Recovery Blues..
you may be able to do it man. like i said everyone is different, some can run multiples and always bounce back and some can run one at 500mg a wk of test only and never recover again. it would be awesome if you could get your levels back up to normal though and if you had success in the past you shouldnt have an issue doing it again. keep that estro in check when you do come off and you should bounce back much faster than 6 months though.Originally posted by hicktown View PostHey guns,
Yea great post! I ran juice when i was 30 (im 33 now) and i recovered fully, It took about six months for me to get my nads back but i was good to go. I honestly dont see why i wouldnt recover i have no health issues at all. Ill run this pct as best as i can but being on HRT for life does scare me a little. When i had my levels checked post cycle at age 31 i was low 300's.

Re: Long Cycle Recovery Blues..
i hate to be the bearer of bad news man but if you are over 28 then most likely you running a pct is pretty much just peeing into the wind. you can try it and have bloods done but even with no aas use most men's levels begin to decline after 26-28ish. so by you choosing to hit the supplements up, most likely you wont bounce back. dont hold me to that without proper blood work and a good pct but i am being realist with you here. now with that said, if you do run that proper pct and have bloods and dont bounce back, then during your off time only run the amount of test needed to keep you in optimal range not more. that way you are actually giving your body the break that it needs.
how do you cope with coming off? that's a different battle for everyone. biggest things i have done in the past are: keep diet in check 100% with no deviation whatsoever, train as hard as your body will allow and still recover (that could mean only being able to go 3-4 days per wk for some) and dont chase the damn numbers. dont compare what you are currently doing with what you were doing while on. your not a power lifter so numbers dont matter. chase that pump and the feel and dont worry about everything else. i will harp one more time on optimal hormone levels again. keep the estro in check for the duration of your pct and off period. that will help you out big time

Long Cycle Recovery Blues..
Whatup fam-o
Im coming off a 16weeker of test/mast, briefly ran Deca for 4 weeks and found out the sides kill me. Ive gone down to an hrt dose that ill use for a few weeks then come off totally. My girl and I are fairly new(2 month relationship so far) and we're getting wild all the time and she hates when I have issues. No worries though ive got my source for cialis, but my main concern is how do you guys keep your motivation during pct and when you start to see your pump diminish and your strength going in the toilet?
Im still on growth so that somewhat keeps my hopes up for progressing. Earlier this year I decided to train with the "whatever it takes" motto and feel ive been somewhat reckless with my length of cycle. Before my last run I only took off six weeks so i know ive been shut down for a long time.
I'll be getting blood work in a week or two. My new insurance sucks ass
