Hey guys, just had gyno removal today and when I got home I took my shirt off and my left side is bruised pretty bad and the right side nothing? Little concerned if this is a hemotoma? My surgery was 3hrs away so don't really want to make that trip right away. I am going to call my surgeon in the morning... But was just hoping someone has experienced with this brewsing before kinda ease my mind a little.
A significant hematoma would be quite painful. A bruise is a hematoma by definition but a bad one would cause swelling in the tissue space and hurt like a sum*****. I have one in my right glute right now because I transected a vessel when I pinned..... needle hole closed up but the vessel continued to bleed. Hurts something fierce. I wouldn't worry bro but call your surgeon.
Im sure its normal if it doesn't get better or if your concerned just give the Doc a call

It cost me $3200 and went to a good doc in Toronto. Lucky for me my work benefits covered it. But definitely feeling a lot better day 3 after the surgery.
