if no blood work involved, how can you tell if a steroid is either working or not working? just a discussion, so please give serious answers.

I don't think you can tell with 100% certainty. As you get more advanced I think you know how you "feel" when on cycle, but you also have to consider the placebo affect. Labs to me are the best way to gauge gear but are also vital to monitor your health.

Agreed about lab work being the best way of course but of course its the feeling that goes with good gear.The pumps,the added thickness,the vasularity,the quicker recovery have always been tell tale signs for me.Now with Test of course the increase in sex drive is another slam dunk way of knowing.

And all great points F.I.S.T., but I know guys who swear gear is g2g by the same indicators and later find the gear is totally bunk. Without labs you are 50/50 at best in my opinion if your gear is good.

I agree with that brother.As I stated,lab tests are definitely the only 100% way to be sure,but after yrs of using,you just know the difference in great gear and shit.Sure the placebo effect always can play a role,but for me that was more in the beginning yrs when I was hoping for such incredible gains but now I know what to expect so I have become more in tuned with my body and how it reacts to certain gear.I not only feel these things but even without working out,I can just ell when om on from the changes in my body.My wife has also become an expert on when im on just by my appearance.I rarely go off now but when I do,its a noticeable difference.Plus my wife follows my cycles more than I do because as I stated,my sex drive goes thru the roof with really good test and I never leave her alone.

Lab tests are actually just a reassurance for what I already know,good or bad and to keep track of my health status so I can make needed change if they should arise.

Yep.. I've seen that happen over and over again. I stick with labs. There are certainly some compounds that are easier for me to tell. Tren being one of them.. Between the tren cough upon administration to the night sweats and Vascularity...etc. Tabs are usually easy for me to tell, mainly due to back pumps or shin pumps when doing cardio.

Labs are the only real way..but with no blood work, definitely sex drive, those crazy "i just moved how much" days, anger issues, blood pressure elevates, sweats, insomnia

Absolutely Bro, you are dead on correct. My wife monitors all my cycles, having an RN for a wife is such a plus. She keeps a close eye on my BP, my sex drive, reviews my labs, watches my diet. She knows when I'm cruising that I need to blast again based on mood, temper, lethargy etc. it's such a plus.

i agree with everyone. it brings me to this, iam getting my bloods done for first time in long time, so thats achievement lol, but how much will it be if say your using 3 gr human grade? will it be something that can be guessed by one of you guys, as i dont know? iam a RN but not in that setting where i seen all this before or worked in a clinic for low -t problems. i work on a mental health/ drug addictions units. good discussion though and good points taken. wat iam asking is wat should my level read around?

Buy from a reputable source that others have produced independent labs for. This will bring you up past the 50/50 but you have to remember a lot of these labs are nothing more than junk provided by the company(or competitors). Learn to recognize outliers.
Thanks for this thread, it reminds me I need to get some bloodwork done.
To add, with bloodwork, how can we verify the compound we are taking is supported in the results?

Test is a no brainer but what about Deca(prolactin level?), EQ(increased blood count), Tren(prolcatin level).

Not to steal from the other forums but maybe we can add lab testing as a sub section.
One thing left out is even more important then whether or not your gear is working, it is whether or not your AI is working.

yeah maybe every sponsor has to submit a vial to be tested . or have a mod, admin or both pick a gear from each sponsor they want tested but the mod or admin has to be the one to pick the product. but thats how much i know lol. i mean use all the mods or and the admin to pick from each company then post results. just my worthless 2 cents.
