thought i would just throw this out there, im sure most of you know this but there are some that prob dont. ( i was one of them )
i was never a real believer in the heating pad tell i started pinning my delts with prop. i was pinning my quads and couldnt even walk and i found alot of you prefered delts so i thought i would give it a try. i pinned my left delt then hit the gym about an hour later by the time i got home and pounded down a protien shake i started getting some pip. my boys ez and pitt told me to hit it with some heat, witch at that point was a little late but i think it helped some. the next day it felt like some one punched me in the arm, not to bad. the day after that it felt like 3 guys punched me in the arm lol. i started thingking i was just going to have to live with the pain every time i pinned prop. so that same day was time for next pin, i hit the right delt but this time i threw the heating pad on it about 45 min later and then about 4 hours later and 1 last time befor i hit the sack, to my surprise no pip at all. im on third pin on delts today going right now to throw the heating pad on there. i will let ya all know how this one goes

I have used a heating pad in the past after not only prop injections but others as well but have not in a long long time.I do always heat my oil under the tap before injecting though and this has helped greatly with not only eliminating pain but it really helps make drawing and injecting much much easier with the thinner oil.Try this technique as well Rocker and see if it helps.

I do this on a regular basis as well. Makes it so much easier to draw and pin your oils. Especially if you're trying to get a way with a smaller guage needle. Great advice indeed!!

Good to hear.Ive been using this technique for over a decade and swear by it man.

A few things I do with all injections that may help if you don't do them already is......

                      1) I always run the vials under hot tap water before injecting.
                      2) I push the plunger in xtra slowly
                      3) I make sure to keep a steady hand while injecting.Meaning never moving the needle around while in me.
                      4) Always massage the area of pinning afterwards.

Now you notice I didnt include aspirating or swabbing the vials and locations with alcohol before and after injecting, which I ALWAYS DO.I was just mentioning ways that should help with injection pain.

                        Thanks my friend.

When you're pinning multiple ml's in one location, this heatening/thinning of the oil is especially important in eliminating pain.

                            Re: Pinning and heat

Prob a good idea if youre having pain. 18 years of this stuff and I only ever had one significant injection problem and that was about 2 months ago. My delt turned red all the way down my bicep and was definitely inflamed. I let nature take its course and thank God it healed up fine. But damn it had me a little nervous while It was goin on. While I had the inflammation I took in immense amounts of antioxidants, loads of pomegranate juice, turmeric , ginger and handfuls of proteolytic enzyme tablets to eat up the inflammation. It worked and my arm is totally healed. That was my experience anyhow. If you have an inflammed area in your body, you gotta attack it with massive nutrition.
                            .Good luck.
