but that's good to hear, i can get scripts for it all, but i think it'll be a lot more expensive at the rx, so i'll just get it my own ways

thanks for the info, that's what i've been needing to hear to make my order ...
yeah, no prob. nizoral-man has it all i am sure you know for cheap. nice to get it domestic and cheap now.

yeah, would 1% nizoral shampoo work as well, or do i need to get the 2% that he sells?

many people use the 1% and report good results......but i figure they made the 2% script for some reason, like its the "good shit". but if you use it ED like i do, i suppose the 1% would work fine. many guys use the 2% EOD. i overdo things at times.

i'm king of going overboard ... but i might just pick up the 1% since i can just go buy it at walgreens tomorrow and it's cheaper ... then i can start it sooner ...

and also, minodixil is the same as rogaine, so i was thinking of getting that too ... but it doesn't have the azeleic acid, which i'm not sure what that does ...

yeah, minoxidil=rogaine. azelaic acid is a topical anti-androgen (like spiro)....so its kind of overkill with two topical anti-androgens....but with the minox/AA combo, i can get the minox for my bald spot area as well as an anti-androgen for the same spot. then use the spiro on my top and front hairline. confusing.....but one could get by with either/or spiro/azelaic acid. you could apply the minox/AA on your bald spot and top/front.....or you could apply spiro all around, and supplement with minox for your bald spot for extra protection. or use all three like me.
upshot is that minoxidil is only found effective for the bald spot area......so you need spiro or azelaic acid for your top/front.

i don't have a bald spot really, just equal thinning throughout and a receding hair line ...

i could get rogaine/nizoral at walgreens and just order the spiro and i should be set, right?

yeah, you'd be set with that. i don't have a real bald spot either, but i put the minoxidil on there since its cheap and supposed to be effective in that area (for preventatitve measures). but i'd use the 1% ED for sure, and do at least one dropper of rogaine (they recommend two, but hey we don't have a major problem back there).....then rub in the spiro on your top/frontal area. you can use the spiro back on the bald spot too before you use the rogaine if you feel you need it. never know when that bald spot might start coming on.

i guess tomorrow i'll get that and do:

1% nizoral shampoo every night and moisturizing every morning
(my hair is really soft, so the nizoral will probably dry it out)
2 droppers of rogaine on the bald spot every night
spiro cream on the hairline ... i don't really have a definite part, it just sort of falls towards one side, and i got it cut pretty short recently ...

that should be sufficient, and i can get the parents to cover the stuff at walgreens

do they sell a prescription strength nizoral at pharmacies? because i could get my sister to call in a rx for me if tehy do ...

hahah. yeah they do. i deliver for my job, and i make runs to the two hospitals ED here. and sometimes i go into the pharm with a delivery. i saw the 2% on the rack back there, and was like hey i got some of that at home. lol. i was shocked to see it there, but hey its a script item right? i'd rub some spiro on top your head too though, part or not. like you said, hair thins up there too. if your hairs short, you can take a dab and just rub it on in there. otherwise it looks like your set.

exactly. use it like shampoo, lol. you can script it through minoxidil.com......but your doc needs to get with THEIR doc to get it. not sure if you can work around that.

my sister's an MD, and she'll write a script for hair meds at least, but she won't give me anything fun

you think i could notice any regrowth from taking the minoxidil/nizoral/spiro ? or just prevent any more losses?
