im sure power lifters just go for whatever brings about the biggest strength increase.....but the only real difference is their training techniques....I , as a bodybuilder look to transform my body , and though i feel strenght is def important it is not my number one priority.....for power lifters the strenght is (stupid)...last night i met a kid who claimed to have benched 600lbs....he was big ...but looked like shit... i guess i just dont get power lifting...some just look like they eat all day...BODYBUILDING FOREVER!!!! did i even come close to answering anything??? lol

I'm a powerlifter. Really, it's not the drugs that makes the difference. It's the training. You should be able to grow off of just about anything.

My favorites are fina, and dbol. Usually, it's test, dbol, and drol for the big guys. The lighter guys use test, var, halo, and low-dose dbol.

Yes it makes a diffrence. Most powerlifters are trying to stay in a certain weightclass and want to be as strong as possible at a certain bodyweight. So of course halo and tren are favorites by powerlifters. But most bodybuilders don't use halo unless its for a comp to get harder and even then they seem to prefer masteron for hardness.

im sure alot of powerlifters look at you and think your stupid for flexing in the mirror looking big without the numbers to back it up.

why call goals in strength stupid? that wasnt really called for

flip on worlds strongest man some day. there are a few guys on there that look better than alot of bodybuilders i know. the old fat bastard stereotype is changing.

I know alot of people including myself that use Power lifting type training and lifts while bulking, but when I cut and lift like a body builder thats where the difference is made.

PS...I think if I recall...some of Arnolds first titles were in PL. Columbo too I believe.

To the question though. Id say the big differences is you wont see PL on like EQ, Winny, Primo, High doses of Deca.

And you wont see as many BBs on things like Suspensions, Halo n Methyl-Test.

Any drug should be able to used though. You could bulk on winny and cut on anadrol if ya really wanted to.

BTW...Im some where in between. More on the PL side though. I train WSBC but alot of my accesory lifts (non-core) are a little tailored towards BB.

A total of 2000lbs while under 12% bf would be my ideal.

                      bodybuilding

i'm very impressed with people who can move a lot of weight but for me i like to look in the mirror and see road maps of veins and striations. hope this didn't start a flame war.

dont go around boasting? what do you call it when you flex in a mirror or go shirtless? is that not boasting in a sense?

many pls let the weight they are lifting do the talking.

im not personally offended. personally i dont care either way. just making a reply.

gotcha.......i really dont see how flexing in the mirror is boasting..if anything id consider it self-absorbed...but not boastful..i use the mirror to see my progress and what areas i have to work harder on so my body is well balanced and proportioned......its not like i invite all my friends over when im flexing...i do it when im alone...i feel flexing is important to get blood in the muscles at times im not training with weights......we're in the same sport....just play different....its all good
