  • Newbie needs help...BAD!

This is my first cycle ever and I ran into a serious problem. I took my 8th shot on Monday morning. On Tuesday evening, I developed a red rash-like on my left (ass) cheek. It's been hurting like a Mutha. Well, tonight it appears to be swelling and it is still red (a little bigger too).

What the hell did I do. What do I do now???

    Thanks in advance, Bros!!!

Bouncer, what did I do wrong??? Like I said, this is the 8th week and I haven't had any other problems. It's swelling a good bit. I'm thinking of maybe seeing a doc like tonight. Am I over-reacting?

Don't panic. Are you using a fresh pin? You could get a little infection. It will probably clear up, but if it gets worse you may need an antibiotic. I just don't want to try to explain to the doc how it happened....he'll know you are lying.....

Yeah -- always use fresh pins. Is there anything I can take to speed recovery? Its already been 5 days and it seems to be only getting worse.

rashes are usually difficult to diagnose. can you describe it or take a pic of it?... and no i don't want it to just see your ass. :p

I don't think its a rash, cuz it don't itch. It feels like a bruise or a pulled muscle. It now has a roundish pocket on it that may have fluid or something in it.

it's more than an abcess from a shallow injection ... it'll look red and warm for a few days probably, but after 2-3 days it'll go away ...

So, 5 days sounds normal? And I don't need to rush to see Doc?

Sorry about all the questions (I am a newbie, you know ) I'm just a lil nervous. I'm not quite ready to have my leg amputated......j/k.

that's a little long, but wait it out till monday morning, if it's still as bad and hasn't gone away at all, go see a doc immediately.

What do you mean? The pins are sealed and of course, I only use em once.
