  • Over Training?

    So here is a question:

Is it even Possible to "over train" while on gear and eating truck loads of good clean food?
Now I don't mean spending 10 hrs at the gym and doing 5000 sets.
I am talking about a guy like myself, 5'7" 185 lbs, D-Bol, EQ, and Sust. Spending hour to hour and a half doing about 5 excercises with 8-10 reps going everyday.
If it is not possible then can anyone please explain why my frikin arms won't grow lol.
    22yrs old, 5'7", 185Lbs, 12%BF, 16.5" Biceps, 4 Pack.

    Goal = 190Lbs, 5%BF, 20" Biceps, 6 Pack.

    Re: Over Training?

alot imo has to do with genetics, some body parts arent as good as others . Some grow better then others do. sometimes no matter how hard you try it just wont grow like you want it to. Welcome to our bodies. You might want to see huge resiluts when you actual wont and you have to take what comes to you. Sure I wish my arms were bigger and ive done alot of different exercises for biceps but I take what I get

yes sir. That's the human body.
To answer your question about over training. No. You're not over training at an hour hour-in-a-half. I swear, I could just keep going sometimes. It's like stamina forever somedays while on.

        Re: Over Training?

i will consistently train everyday until there comes a day where i can't, ie early meeting at work or weekend function.

i am doing just a bit more than sours above at two body parts, cardio and abs eod.

Been a real force of mental habit over the past years. i'm 5'11", 215lbs and pretty lean. Now, could i have better or different results if i did not train ED? maybe but again its become a mental habit.

            Re: Over Training?

your body need sleep, and recover time and good food...if all that is in play then i dont think you will over train. if you tain all the time and are lacking the other keys than you could over train or waste time

              Re: Over Training?

over training is possible and its as detrimental as undertraining. there is a fine line. .... look I lift 6 days a week. run 3 to 5 times a week around 25-30miles a week. also swim 3-5k yards a day atleast 3 days a week. I pt and do pull up and dips every week day. over training is possible on gear or not.

you just need to mix it up.... i dont care what u take... if u do chest everyday the muscle will never heal and atrophy.

basic principals of lifting.... its not the weight lifting that makes u bigger and stronger. you put a load on the muscle and it breaks down....... when it heals its bigger and stronger. I agree that genetics play a role, so does rest and food... but there is a limit to how much u can train and still have it beneficial.

With what your taking...I would say you need to up your calories.
This is my opinion but I feel arm size is in direct proportion with body weight.
Might be why we dont (see to many) 160-185lbers sporting 20inch arms.

^ true... but genetics is going to play a large role in it too. I agree though... under 2 bills and 18 inch arms look huge.
