man, i've heard nothing but horror stories with calf injections. too many other good spots to hit, i wouldn't even consider them.

damn what's up with that? I did them for the first time last week. I have very big calfs, so I thought it shouldn't be a problem. Much to my regret they swol up to about 10 cm around the injection spot. Simply walking even hurt like hell and you couldn't touch them at all without jumping onto the ceiling. It took 5 days before it went away.

It certainly ain't the fluid, since other injections didn't pose any problem.
