  • Excess Swelling. Fluid in my Legs. HELP!

WTF is this? I am getting excess fluid in my legs. I think I read about this one time in a Nutrition class in college.

Last week I thought I was getting some minor swelling near my shin. I dismissed it, but now when I press down on the side right next to my shin, I get a little dimple that doesn't go away until about 10-15 seconds later. WTF is this? How do I get rid of it? Could anything I'm on trigger this? I am very concerned.

That is a symtom of kidney failure. Not to freak you out or anything you are probably just fine. Are you jaundiced at all? Have you been to the doc? Are you on any gear right now?
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

OH FUCK ME! Kidney failure? Are you serious?! Shit dude. If I go to the doctor, he's going to know that I'm taking the stuff I'm taking. Oh btw, what is jaundice? What to do??? Here's the rundown.

              Steroidal Meds:
Test Enanthate (stopped taking 4 weeks ago as planned)
              Tren
              Winny

              Ancillaries:
              Nolva
              Arimidex
              Bromocriptine
              cycling between ECA and Clen

I've been shooting into my calves prolly once a week. Been doing that for the past 6 or so weeks. The thing is, I am very low bodyfat. Measured by a pro with calipers at 7%. So, I'm definitely worried bro. I push down with my thumb on the middle part of my shin, just off to the inside part a little bit, and I get a fucking indentation! That's right, I get a fucking dimple! It goes away after about 15 seconds, but I'm like WTF?!

I don't know if its water retention. I've been on other cycles were I've got majorly bloated in the face and gut, but nothing like this. In fact, I'm not even bloated that much in the face or gut since I stepped off of the Test Enanthate.

Hey Pudge, should I take in more/less sodium? I never really pay attention to how much sodium I take in. I'm eating fairly healthy so I assume my sodium intake isn't that high.

most high protein foods are high in sodium. turkey , any kind of sausage, bacon, cottage cheese, ham, etc. you would be suprised how much you take in. if your sodium isnt high , make sure you are getting enough water. if you dehydrate your body retains water. if you get thirsty at all or your urine isnt clear , you are dehydrated. if you are still worried go to the doctor, tell him your on, he cant tell anyone else unless your a minor.

Ok, I'm a female, and haven't used gear (yet), but I just want to give you some peace of mind, that it is very possible to have major water retention in your legs as well. I think it borderlines on edema, which is where your body holds a lot of water, due mostly to either hormonal inbalance of some kind or kidney "overload". I've had major leg water retention, and still do , mine is due largely to hormonal changes, your's I'm not sure. BUT, I would still urge you to go to your doc. After all, it's always better to be a little humiliated for telling you're on gear, than developing some kind of medical condition that could be potentially very serious.

I got some bloat in my ankles from dbol. This was told to me by BStrongBwell over at MuscleChemistry.

A few you can try to reduce bloating:

                        1) Drink 1 gal of H2O/day
                        2) Limit your sodium intake
                        3) Take in plenty of potassium as potassium will trigger fluid loss and SODIUM loss as well which continues to promote a normal fluid flushing vs. the retention you get when you have too much sodium in your body. Both potassium and sodium are considered part of your electrolyte balance.
                        4) Train hard and heavy and make sure you sweat like a pig.

***With high water intake, you MUST keep potassium (and other vitamins & minerals too!) coming in. Without proper potassium levels, you can get muscle cramping, which typically starts in the calfs, and even end up with a heart attack! I like cooking with a potassium salt instead of a sodium salt (No-Salt is the brand). Bananas and potatoes are the two highest natural sources of potassium.
***Definitely check your BP every few days if you get headaches or get light headed, etc... If your BP stays high after doing all that, you should see a doc right away.

IMO, it's not *just* plain ol' water retention. Winny dries me up like a mofo, so does fina for that matter. And a fina/winny combo for 6 weeks? Go to the doctor bro. Better safe than sorry.

Good point. I would go to the doctor then too. Would not enough water still cause some retention even while on Tren/Winny?

Baxter you stopped the test eth. four weeks ago? Have you learned what fina dick is yet? You are running Tren/Winny? How long did you run the Test eth for and how long have you been running the tren/winny? Strange way to cycle but that is besides the point. I wouldn't freak out too much. I doubt you will die anytime soon.

Shit! I really don't know WTF is going on. I ran the Test Enanthate during weeks 1-6. I'm running Tren for the overlapping middle parts 3-10 week. And Winny for the overlapping last part 7-12 week. Right now, I'm on week 9 of 12. When I came off the Test Enanthate a few weeks ago, the water bloat came off pretty good in a couple of weeks. I have been getting slightly dehydrated, but nothing major. I have a family history of diabetes on my mother's side, but AFAIK I don't have it. I really am royally screwed. I'm not a BBer, but I do compete in another sport and I really cannot see a doctor because then my name would get out. WTF? Has freaking nobody got this before?
