Re: personal trainers
answering your question would take more time that i have. There are several certified trainers here and we all know our stuff. T-Mann most definately knows his. As far as what each course entails, that is where YOU need to do the work. Google search "Personal training certifications" or something to that effect. Then you can narrow it down and get back to us.Originally posted by player1Are there any peaple who train others as a sole vocation. My job is my enemy it is geared to tear one down nutritionaly aswell as time ways 15 hours a day kinda stuff.so im considering doing something i love.watching peaple grow physically aswell as mentally by weight training What kind of schooling is needed also can i make some good $$.

Re: personal trainers
I have plenty of people ask me for training routines and diets but I get tired of doing it. I realize now that I don't have an interest in doing it for a job.Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. George Washington
I do not condone the use of, nor do I use anabolic or androgenic steroids. My participation on these boards is for informational purposes only. I have done extensive research of AAS and enjoy discussing them for role playing enjoyment.

So true, so true.Originally posted by solidgroundif you want to make real money training you need to do in-homes or have your own place..most gyms dont pay that well. find rich areas/people and you can easily make 50-100$/hr
Most gyms will rape you out of your hard earned money. But then again you get to use their equipment. Anyways, you can try to find a gym that takes very little or none of the money. My buddy Jeff has a gym here in my town and he doesn't charge any of his trainers anything. He lets them do there own thing and he tells the members that the agreement they make with teh trainer is completely indipendent from him and his gym. And, as you can imagine, there are some really good trainers and some really bad trainers there.

Re: personal trainers
The most successful trianers I've met are very intelligent in the fact that they change their client's programs so much from week to week and they fill them with soo much information that their clients have this "I need them" feeling. Seriously, they don't write anything down, they go from compounds to core specific to machines, they mix up the reps and sets, they mix up so much stuff that the client is just doing what they are told and never get the first idea that they could do it on their own. I have noticed two things about this type of trainer. 1- they have the most consistant clients, and 2- their clients get the best results. So naturally, #2 contributes to #1 and the cycle just keeps repeating. This one guy who used to be my head trainer was always booked out for atleast two months. He actually took an apprentice under his wing to teach her what he knew so he could lesson his load. Now, this guy was no fluff, he had degrees, he had certs, he even spent 3 years doing nothing but post injury reabilitaion. This guy was the shit. To bad his girl moved to Mississippi. I learned a lot of stuff from this guy.Originally posted by Slightly Enhancedi got burned out on it, plus you must realize that you have to be a salesman as much as a trainer
