    do you guys ever get a "pump" when you work out back? I only get a pump in my arms and forearms, not my back muscles

    my lower back gets them pretty bad on dbol and winny...calves too

      My traps get a wicked pump when doing shrugs but not as bad as the before mentioned forearms and calves.

        I get a little pump in my lats when doing rows, but otherwise - not really.
        The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

          hmmm come to think about i got it in my lower back today too, real bad, but i wanna get that pump in my lats. It make me feel like i'm working harder and doing everything right.

              I get a pump in my back almost every time and I have nothing in my system right now. Try lowering your weight, with highly strict form, in a very control manner...works for me.

                will do, i had the craziest pump in my forearms today, i could barely hold the bar. It was crazy

                    I agree with Aragorn, lighten the weight a little and concentrate on pulling with your back and not your arms.

                    Also use straps when you get the forearm pump, straps help me get a couple extra reps.

                        thanx for all the advice. I was using those high and low hammer strength row machine, but i think i'll quit with the machines and start using barbells.

                            The only time I get a really good pump in my back is when I do standard cable pull downs. Sitting straight up and pulling down untill the bar hits the very top of my chest. I use lower weight and focus on strict form with a major concentration on the end of the movement. It works the teres minor and major really well for me.

                              cable upright rows are good for getting a pump in the outer delts and traps - I use em for a finisher on shoulders - for as many reps as you can squeeze out, it'll bring tears to your eyes...
