  • Calorie intake on first cycle?

    Running Test E for 10 weeks at 500MG alone. I was thinking 3,000-3,500, anymore cals and i will probably put on fat. suggestions?

    what are your stats? if u're fairly lean protein should be about 2g protein per lb while ON... cant really say how much of everything else u're getting when dont know ur stats

      6 2 220 pounds 15-16% BF, when i start ill be 205 10% approx, age 22

          I eat 4k-5k cals when bulking.

              look do this try to get 500g protien a day. Other then that you really don't have to count g just make sure your eating at or upwards of 5000 cals a day. Just make you a carb cutoff point and stick to it so you won't gain to much fat. I would suggest no carbs after 6 unless its your postworkout meal. if your still gaining too much fat move the carb cutoff back.

                5000 cals just isnt neccessary, i can grow with 4,000, any more and it will contribute to the belly, I might consider 5k if i was doing cardio 4x a week or something

                  500 grams is way too much, ur body cant handle that, ur just putting extra stress on ur kidneys. Your body is like a gas tank, once it full of gas (protein) it cant take anymore and like a gas tank its start spilling out any excess which in turn is a waste and hard on organs.

                    You asked for suggestions, and you knock every one of them down just as soon as someone posts one.

                    You need to calculate your maintenance calorie intake (based on LBM) and add on from there. AAS increases protein synthesis, so the extra protein intake is essential. As you progress through your cycle, you will need to increase your intake (all macro counts) to compensate for added LBM.

                      You have to understand that AAS increase the body's ability to metabolize protein. Sure a natural person has no business eating 500g of protein, conversely, one using AAS can. I stick to no more protein than double my bodyweight. If you weigh 200 then you should try to consume at least 300g and closer to 400g every day. Often times I hit right in the middle which in this case would be 350g. Try to have the majority of your protein coming from foods such as red meat, fish, and chicken. The additional protein can come from shakes. How many calories do you think a pro bodybuilder eats a day? Think about it bro, AAS will allow your body to use all of the nutrients. Your body will be hungry all the time depending on what you take. Dbol makes me eat like a mothef**er.

                        I THINK 500G PROTEIN IS TO HIGH FOR ANYONE EVEN JAY CUTLER. IF YOU HAVE NO PROB PUTTING WEIGHT ON STICK TO AROUND 1.5G PER LB OF BODY WEIGHT, AND LESS THAN THAT DAYS YOUR NOT LIFTING. IF YOUR BETWEEN 10-15% BF LET YOUR WORKOUTS EAT A LITTLE OF WHAT YOU ALREADY GOT INSTEAD OF OVERLOADING ON WHAT YOU DON'T NEED YET, UNLESS YOU CUT WEIGHT LIKE A MAGICIAN 500G AND 5000CAL IS OVERLOADING AND MORE CARDIO THAT YOU WANT IMHO.

                          I agree with people of average size, however, Jay Cutler can handle 500g of proetein. The guy weighs 310 off season.

                            1.5 - 1.8 G per lb when off 2g per lb while ON... personally i think 500 is too much Adam too. 15% isnt all that lean either. I would stick to 400 grams... Im not sure how much pros eat, but i dont even think it matters b/c im pretty sure dillet just gets 250g a day and thats just sick! these guys are genetic freaks

                              You are correct, it DOES NOT MATTER what the pro's are doing. Do not base your "calculations" on numbers you get from Flex magazine...
