  • Needle size and why?

I know what I use, and everyone uses something different. Lets make a running list of different needle sizes and gear which to use the needles. I remember I posted some pics along time ago about reusing needles. And how they look under a microscope. So to all the newbies just buy some new pinz. Plus I have had friends get infected doing it. I will try to find the pics and post them.

Here is the pics for everyone that hasn't seen them. I know this is old. Also account for putting the needle through the rubber seal on your vial!

Well it has been magnified a billion times with a microscope, yes I would never looked at it that way. Just think if they do that and you use them, then spin the needle while injecting!!!! pain...

i use 25 gauge x 1" for everything. just warm your gear before injecting. this makes for a smoother shot!

              25G 1" 1/2'
              25 G 1"

depending of hwo deep I've to go

but for most 25G 1" is ok and the products goes fast through the pin

This is what I use/do to. However, I draw with a 23g (BD tops get cut up pretty easy or I'd draw with a wider gauge), then switch to a 25g tip. Considering how cheap needles are, I prefer to do it this way.

I never ever use the same needle I draw with to inject.

                      But I use for quads and glutes 22 or 23 1 1/2 inc...for delts, bi's , tri's the same but 1 inch pin.

22g for everything.Draws up fast.Primary reason is this is what I can get from work for free 22g/3cc/1.5''. Some people may not like the pain but in my experience, a 22g hurts way less than a kick ass leg routine and goes away quicker.SUCK IT UP!!!!!LOL

New needle everytime, they are cheap enough that I draw w/1 then inject w/a new one....it isnt necessary but I feel better about it, especially after getting cellulitis 4 weeks ago......

                            25 ga 1" or 1 1/2"

                              Glutes: 25 guage x 1 1/2" pin
                              All others: 25 guage x 1" pin
